1st treatment

ECP treatment and assessment:

Routine medical assessment's take place each visit.
Base line respiratory functions for GVHD patients.
Base line photo's are taken initially for all patients and then at 3 monthly intervals.

At each visit for treatment:

Medical history since last visit.
Drug history since last visit.
Pruritus (itch) score.
Eye assessment.
Mouth assessment.
Gastrointestinal assessment.
Joint assessment: If required.
Blood Tests.
Karnovsky's scale.

N.B. Please remember treatment is repeated the following day.

Telephone Triage: Following your first treatment you will be given subsequent treatment dates. The day before your subsequent treatment dates, a nurse from Rotherham ECP will contact you by telephone to ensure you are fit and well for treatment the next day.
