On receipt of a referral from your own medical consultant an appointment will be made at Rotherham for you to be seen by the medical Consultant in charge of Photopheresis as an out patient.

At this appointment various blood tests will be carried out and you will be assessed to ensure your suitability for treatment.

One of the ECP nurses will show you around the unit and explain about ECP in more detail and also assess vascular access.

Once you have had chance to decide if you wish to proceed with ECP you will be expected to contact our medical secretary who will book your first treatment.
